BodyMind Nutrition Center launches new website

On November 20, 2008 The BodyMind Nutrition Center launched a new website designed and built by Xpan Interactive of Calgary, Alberta.
"Working with the Xpan team was phenomenal,” said Lars Gustafsson, BodyMind’s founder and president. “They are very intuitive. I briefly explained to them what I wanted and they quickly came back with a site that was beyond my expectations. From concept to launch took about two weeks.”
The BodyMind Nutrition website is based on Xpan’s proprietary content management system (CMS). “The Xpan CMS is very easy to use, and it saves a lot of time,” explained Gustafsson. “Even though I don’t know HTML, I can update the site myself without having to explain the changes to a webmaster then waiting for them to get done.”
“The BodyMind Nutrition Center is a diverse collection of products and services,” explained Ron Thiele, President and CEO of Xpan Interactive. “Nutrition counseling, seminars, and therapeutic services are offered at the center, while the newsletter, nutrition coaching and certification programs are offered online. We developed the BodyMind Nutrition logo to reflect those components, and converged them into a single brand on the website.”
The BodyMind website had an impact within a few weeks of going live. “I don’t know how Xpan did this, but all of a sudden there are a lot more hits on our website,” said Gustafsson. “Some of the people who were directed to our site have already signed up for our programs.”
“Xpan builds all its sites for search engine optimization, so its not surprising that the BodyMind site has seen an increase in traffic,” explained Thiele. “Also, our CMS is search engine friendly, so clients can add or modify the search variables and monitor the results.”
“I can describe the experience of working with Xpan in two words: ease and flow,” said Gustaffson. “I can’t believe how much work got done in such a short amount of time. I definitely recommend Xpan.”
